Read for the Record 2016!

Jumpstart’s Read for the Record is a national campaign that was launched over a decade ago to address the educational inequities that leave too many children unprepared for school. On Thursday, October 27, we read this year’s campaign book, The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach, as part of the world’s largest shared reading experience.Students at CMIT had the pleasure of having Ms. Riley, Mrs. Virgil, Ms. Dubon, Mr. Gourdin and Mr. Russel, a parent, come into their classrooms to guest read the story. We are so thrilled to have been a part of Read for the Record!
